Hi, I'm Melanie.
A designer based in Dallas/Fort Worth. I have an affinity for illustration but I am also experienced with branding, print publications, and simple motion graphics. Plus an understanding of game design.
Having a background in ceramics and sculpture allows me to approach the creation process from all possible sides to create depth from a simple idea. I still enjoy the feel of hand-crafted artwork and, whenever possible, I try to incorporate that into the work I do now.
Setting goals and challenges is how I like to stay inspired. I think it’s important to have ongoing personal projects to keep the mind fresh. Currently, I’m developing a mobile game with a few friends.
Traveling and trying new foods are a couple of my favorite hobbies because the experiences can be so diverse. There's so much to appreciate in this world and I hope to make a positive impact through my designs.
